Bongo Camping May 2010

Tukuyu town 2010 in the Southern Highlands of Tanzania integrates still more with global technology, and Bongo Camping takes great part in this development. It´s fantastic to observe how media science is sprouting at this development platform founded by BDT and Kumbe in 2007 at Kibisi Village. Things are happening not least due to Katrine Brücker´s reserves of energy - our Danish woman who co-operates with the local civil society group Kikundi cha Utalii Mbeya about the video project Bongodox, a project to fight aids. Also many smaller initiatives turn up around Bongodox - students´ homework nights at the camp, plans for world cup social happenings, music recordings and more - and these activities continue making the creative spiral growing at the development platform Bongo Camping.
