2006: The group behind Bongo Camping emerges nearby Tukuyu Town and Mt. Rungwe in Tanzania
2007: Bongo opens up for projects, research, teaching - and travellers from all over the world
Activities
Students and researchers have taken part in projects, research and fieldwork in many areas. Some examples:
2010: Media science & Antropology (Katrine Brücker, second picture. Denmark. 5-months project with the local group Kumbe. Project site: www.bongodox.com)
2008: Geology (Karen Fontijn, Belgium, upper picture. Volcanology Fieldwork. Held seminars and classes for the local community at Bongo Camping)
2007: Business Management (Nabil Chaykh, Denmark, employee in Sogeti A/S. Bottom picture. Founded the Bongo Entrepreneurship Programme to make possible for entrepreneurs to carry out small business plans)
